Feature Guide

Leads

Every enquiry from your public albums and showcase, tracked from first contact to close.

In a nutshell

  • When a family enquires about a profile on a public album or your showcase, it becomes a lead in one inbox — never a lost chat thread.
  • A lead moves pending → contacted → accepted → completed (or rejected). Accepting a lead never grants album access.

One inbox for every enquiry

Each row is a real family that asked about one of your profiles. Contact, name, the profile they asked about, and status — at a glance.

Where leads come from

Anything public that shows a profile can generate a lead.

Leads inbox

becomes a lead

Private, assigned albums don't generate leads — an assigned family already has a direct line to you.

The status pipeline

You move a lead along as you work it. Every change is timestamped.

Pending

Just arrived — nobody has actioned it yet.

Contacted

You've reached out to the family.

Accepted

You're taking it forward — a chat or connection is open.

Completed

Closed out — match made, or the enquiry is done.

Rejected

Not a fit — closed without taking it forward.

Working a lead

From the lead you can see the family's message, contact them, and take it forward.

  1. 1

    Open the lead

Read the family's message and see which profile they asked about.

  2. 2

    Contact the family

Call or message them, then mark the lead Contacted.

  3. 3

    Accept to take it forward

Accepting records the connection and, for logged-in families, can open a chat.

  4. 4

    Save the contact and close

Add the family to your contacts and move the lead to Completed.

A lead is not album access

Accepting a lead never adds the family to the album or grants them profile access. If you want them to browse more profiles, assign them a private album separately (see the Albums guide).

Quick reference

The rules a lead always follows.

Who can create one
Any visitor to a public album or your showcase — logged in or anonymous (contact form).
Contact details
Pulled from the account if they're logged in; free-text name / email / phone if not.
Where it goes
To the matchmaker who owns the profile — or a platform review queue if that profile has no active matchmaker.
Album access
Never granted by a lead. Assign a private album separately.
Saving the contact
One tap adds the family to your contacts for follow-up.
